Rudeness last year from a nurse and last year and this year from a receptionist. All other staff have been lovely though. I feel badly let down by this surgery. I've been going here for over a decade but problems in the last few months have made me want to move to another surgery. Deeply shocked and very upset. Wish I'd just called an ambulance when I was in a lot of pain. |

I was diagnosed with a staph infection. The first nurse I saw was really friendly, gave me antibiotics but didn't really tell me what the infection was. The second nurse gave me a brief overview of what the infection was, said they weren't going to treat me (even though it was reoccuring) and was quite patronising and intimidating and didn't seem like they had the time of day for any of my questions. I then later phoned to inform the second nurse that I had after all experienced symptoms highly recognised and related to a staph infection (bite-like, swollen areas). The nurse then proceeded to ask me if I knew what bit me?! I explained to them that one of the main symptoms are boil/bite like lesions, I did not have an actual bite. I was quite taken aback that they didnt know this and their exasperated 'know it all' tone was not welcome. I actually found out the list of symptoms from some senior nurses at work, who kindly talked me through them all (unlike my nurse). I will be asking for another nurse next time I visit; one who is a little more friendly and who listens to their patient! |

There is little to fault with this practice. In the rare event I do need to see doctor, I am able to get an appointment relatively quickly and I feel the staff listen to me and understand my needs. The doctors I have seen since joining the practice have all been friendly, sympathetic and offer good advice, unlike the previous place I was with. I believe they do all they possibly can under very difficult circumstances and I thoroughly recommend this practice |
