We moved to the Burwell surgery catchment area in mid 2022 and have been amazed at the high standard of service provided by Burwell surgery. We moved from Norfolk and the difference is incredible. All the staff at Burwell surgery have been fantastic, from the receptionists and nurses to the Drs themselves, we have no complaints. Appointments are in good time, email queries are promptly dealt with and the pharmacy staff have never let us down. We are now concerned about moving away from this area, as we know we are unlikely to get this standard of service anywhere else. Thank you to everyone at Burwell surgery, much appreciated. | ||||||

Unhelpful. It is almost impossible to get an appointment to see your own doctor. It also virtually impossible to get a referral to a specialist. | ||||||

The doctors at Burwell Surgery have been a big help to me over the years, all of them that I've seen having been sympathetic, respectful and professional. However, over the past 3 years or so, it has become increasingly difficult to get an appointment within a useful time frame. It's now normal to wait 2 weeks to see *any* doctor, let alone the doctor of your choice. There are emergency appointments, but if you book those you are asked to tell the receptionist what's wrong with you, which seems to me a breach of doctor-patient confidentiality. | ||||||
