Had a cyst on my cheek that got infected, went to same day health clinic and the doctor gave me a course of antibiotics and told me to book an appointment as soon as infection clears to have the cause removed, so of course after the antibiotics were gone I booked the appointment and explained to the receptionist that it was an appointment to have a cyst removed. Arrived to my appointment to find that the doctor was not removing anything, intact I don’t quite know what this appointment was for as the doctor said to book another appointment for minor surgery to have the cyst removed. So I returned to my doctors a week later for “minor surgery” where I was greeted by a very arrogant very rude doctor who had no intention of removing anything as there was a risk of scarring which the two previous doctors I seen had already told me and I was prepared for, however he proceeded to tell me how he wasn’t a plastic surgeon and that if I wanted it removed I would have to pay to see a private plastic surgeon, even though 2 previous doctors had advised me to book appointments to have it removed. So after waisting money on cabs, loosing hours at work and still having an uncomfortable growth in my cheek the outcome was a very rude doctor who I believe couldn’t be bothered to do his job tell me that I will be keeping the cyst on my face unless I could afford to pay for it removed privately. Thanks a lot st Vincent’s practice |

Since the latter part of 2018 my mother's health and general wellbeing has been changing significantly, such that medical agencies and other providers have become increasingly involved in her care. In this context it is my pleasure to offer sincere appreciation of the input by all staff at St Vincent's in supporting her. In particular I wish to place on record the involvement of the Community Care Department. The support, guidance, expertise and time directed to my mother's needs has and continues to be exceptional. I offer special thanks to the Practice Nurses, along with the Administrator, for all they have done. The delivery of their duties has been consistently marked by high levels of knowledge, empathy and care towards my mother and very important guidance on access to both medical and general support. Their work has at all times been informed by high levels of efficiency, dependability and professionalism. Thankyou! |

Cannot get an appointment at either practice unless you ring at least a week in advance. Receptionists unhelpful when they actually answer the phone. Will now be changing to another practice |
