This has never been a good syrgery,since the merger it deteriorated further. We epitomizes are generally unhelpful & getting through on the phone is almost impossible - it recently took me 4 hours on the phone on 3 mornings before I could speak to someone meaning I can't work whilst doing so. I've had long delays in referrals to hospital because this surgery failed to do what was requested months earlier so minor problems have become major issues & delays to treatment. Essential prescription items are cancelled with no warning leaving patients with no access to essential medication s & the farce of trying to phone to get them reinstated. Over the last 3-4 weeks things have improved a little...shorter phone delays & speaking to a new receptionist who was not only polite but was actually very helpful & understanding and promised to sort out several issues which she did (and after waiting for the surgery to refe r me to hospiral after a delay of almost 10 months she sorted that as well) I hope this improvement continues as it's long overdue |

All in all a good medical group. My appointment was 25 minutes later than it should have been, but the staff were really provisional and told that the doctor was running late in advance. |
