Please remove Gillygate from your name. None of your surgeries are anywhere near Gillygate. We own the original Gillygate surgery that you sold in 2014 and still receive mail and occasional visits due to your continuing to include the original name. Some of the mail we receive is highly confidential and specific to individual patients including referrals and results. We have been forwarding it for three years since we have owned our house however we should not be receiving it. The removal of the Gillygate descriptor will ensure this mistake will not continue. This is urgent. | ||||||

On the two occasions when I have needed to attend the surgery regarding complex and sensitive health issues, I was treated with kindness and respect by the GPs I saw. It is an absolute breath of fresh air to be listened to properly, with compassion, and not hurried out the door after 5 minutes for a change. Really impressed by and grateful for the care I've received. The challenge has been getting an appointment in the first place. I called to find there were no bookable appointments for 3 weeks - not much help - and didn't manage to get a same day appointment on the phone either, so had to actually go to the surgery door at 8am in the hope of getting an appointment that way, which took two attempts. I'd be concerned for how those not able to do that would ever be able to access GP services if they need them. | ||||||
