So after being unable to get an apointment in the summer after developing an acute pain in side I paid private to find I had a kidney full of fluid which could have resulted in Sepsis. Ended up paying out nearly £15,000 to remove kidney stones due to the fact this Medical Centre done have the resources for the area! I have since been for a chest Xray at Goole and was told results would be at Howden in a week, after ringing on numerous occasions was told a variety of things from receptionists. I rand again yesterday to be told they rec the results a week ago and nobody bothered to inform me. Luckily all ok. These receptionists all need to sing off the same hymn sheet and it’s ok for a surgery to keep on taking new patients because they get paid for everyone on their list but if they can’t cope with it they shouldn’t take them on. | ||||||

This surgery is quickly becoming has bad as all the rest in the area, employing nurse practitioners to do the job of GPS, a lack of male doctors, a 45 minute wait to get through to reception in a morning, a very rude Scottish receptionist and worse of all been told the doctor will give you a ring back for them not to bother and leave you in pain all weekend! Bring back Dr Harrison, this surgery is no longer fit for purpose | ||||||

I have been a patient here for 15 years. Great team who work hard. Covid Vaccinations were well organised and the Doctors here are brilliant and have solved my problems every time. It's a shame that a few people find faults but my guess is this is an underfunding problem as you won't find a better dedicated team anywhere else. | ||||||
