The team of excellent doctors are caring and proactive - we are lucky to have an excellent practice in our rural setting. My wife and I feel our GP is a wonderful listener when I digress a bit and she is exactly the GP we need if the NHS.is to provide us with health and happiness.
The practice nurse and manager are always helpful and full of good advice.
There is a very rude receptionist who could do with re-training.
Maybe she could bear in mind that some patients are tired, stressed and worried. ... | ||||||

Understanding and willing to listen to you the patient. Even sometimes if they are not aware of the answer to a question and not in the BNF then they will make sure they find out asap and either call you to come in or discuss over telephone you choice. If you have just been prescribed new medication or been diagnosed. with a new illness they are happy to listen and explain things to you in often words that dont sound as terrifying as at all when not using medical language as surgeons & consultants often do. The surgery is welcoming feels friendly and doctors greet you on entering the room on first name basis making you automatically more at ease. | ||||||
