As usual no appointments, doesn’t matter what time you call or what day of the week. Multiple excuses from receptionist as to why there are no appointments, far too many patients would be the obvious answer! The first interaction a patient has with the surgery is a voice message stating “Do not attend this surgery without an appointment or you will be asked to leave.” This does not fill you with hope of a positive outcome, it actually screams “closed door policy” Receptionist who do not have medical training are asking medical questions to ascertain whether you qualify for an appointment and make negative comments to their colleagues when that patient expresses their disappointment. A patients assertiveness to try and get answers is deemed as rude or passive aggressive. The whole issue stems from management, they dictate what receptionist say and do and are fully aware of the implications of this. So if you are reading this and are staff/management think of the patients point of view many of who will be in pain or distress and need help, they are not calling to sit in a que of over 40 people for fun, be empathetic be truthful but most importantly be none judgmental. |

Kept waiting for an injection, I was the only person in the surgery for this particular procedure, after 45 minutes past my appointment time I left, nothing had been said to me by the receptionist who clearly had watched me sitting and waiting. When I got home I checked my personal online record and it had already been updated with the words 'Patient walked out' no mention of the totally unreasonable wait. |

INCOMPETENT GP'S who have no interest in Trying to understand or manage a Patient's condition. They just dish out Medications that are unnecessary instead of carrying out the relevant tests that are required just like Kettering General Hospital utter negligence |
