Took a prescription in and I was the only person there. Told a 10 minute wait and decided to wait, even though my bus was in 20 minutes. After 15 minutes, only one more person was in there waiting still so I asked the assistant how long before my prescription was ready as I needed to catch a bus home. The assistant said I'm just waiting for the pharmacist and when I asked where the pharmacist was, the assistant said the pharmacist gone to do a consultation! I told the assistant I needed to catch a bus and that they had told me that it would only be 10 minutes. The assistant just shrugged their shoulders and said the pharmacist shouldn't be long. I had to waste money paying for another return bus ticket later in the day to pick up the prescription for foot pain, which was made worse by the extra journey and walk I had to make to go back. Never again will I use a Boots pharmacy. Be honest to customers about timings and don't walk off to do a consultation if people are waiting.
