We've made it our mission to take the hassle out of prescriptions. To do this, we're changing how we work so that we can give you more choice in how you get your medicines.
Whether you're under the weather or on long-term medicines, managing and collecting your prescriptions can add unnecessary extra stress. In the UK, the pharmacy model hasn't really moved on in the last 70 years, and we're working to change that.
Our pharmacies
We're developing a new store model which focuses on the things that matter most to our customers and fundamentally changes how our pharmacy teams work. We've redesigned the dispensing process and introduced new stock monitoring measures so that you don't have to wait for your medicines, and we've freed up our pharmacists to spend more time helping our customers.
As part of this, we're also bringing new technology into our pharmacies. This includes 24/7 prescription pick-up machines – meaning you can collect your medicine any time, day or night – and a text notification service, so we can let you know when your prescription is ready to collect.

The staff and pharmacist are very friendly and seem to genuinely care about their customers and patients. The pharmacist always appears to be very thorough and takes time to explain the prescription and is very knowledgeable. This pharmacy is small (and therefore has low staff numbers) but very busy and so sometimes there is a little wait but it is worth it for the excellent service. I have always been very impressed with the advice given by the pharmacist and they have also alerted my GP to problems and made recommendations. Original Comment Report...

Each time you collect a repeat prescription, they issue a ticket dated for when the next one will be ready. Try 3 visits , then you will be able to collect it.
Visit 1. Not ready, this is after a search of prescriptions and shelves.
Visit 2 Next day. Can you wait while we make it up. ( after second search and long discussion with somebody in the back room )
Visit 3. Big smile, yes it's ready. Good, I ran out two days ago.
Quicker to go to Sainsburys on the bus, only a two hour round trip, but at least you get what your there for . Original Comment Report...
