Pathetic service, long waiting, never pick up phone, too much expensive, never give full quantity of medicines and have to ask too many times, unprofessional, rude don't know about pharmacy ethics, liers

Really bad service and even worse system put in place. My prescriptions have been sent to this pharmacy for maybe a year now after my GP suggested it would be easier for me as it’s closer to me. Ironic. However, near enough every time I have had to pick up my prescriptions, there is a ridiculous cue outside and their system, one in and one out, doesn’t help this and is not logical or efficient. Instead of asking one patient to wait outside whilst their prescription is being dealt with by one member of staff, allowing another member of staff to deal with the next patient, they could be dealing with one patient for up to 35 minutes. Today I waited 22 minutes, whilst 3 other patients waited behind me. I was told on Friday by the pharmacy to collect my prescriptions on Tuesday when they’d be delivered, and after arriving at 6pm, I was still waiting 22 minutes to be seen then another 6 minutes for them to be collected. I called immediately after leaving to ask how to raise a complaint. I was told I have to speak to the manager, who listened to my complaint then told me that the system has been put in place for two years and works for them so my best bet would be to change pharmacies. There was no other suggestions moving forward, no effort to consider how to make the service and system run more efficiently, as it works for them. I call the pharmacy on the day I plan to collect my prescriptions to make sure it’s in as some of the items I collect need to be delivered, as it’s frustrating wasting my time waiting in a cue for half an hour to be told my prescriptions haven’t arrived. Even though I take this extra precaution of calling beforehand, I am still waiting an extra 5-10 minutes for my prescription to be sorted out, on top of the 10-20 minute wait in the cue. As I was told, if you’re unhappy with the service, your best bet is to go elsewhere. Hopefully where they have better service and an efficient system.
