Seems I am the only person having problems with this chemist. I was visited by a Doctor at 4.45pm on Monday evening . October 18th. As she left she made out a prescription and sent it to the Woodbrook chemist to be sent out directly to me as soon as possible. After numerous telephone calls the chemist had difficulty finding the Doctor’s message. They sent out a prescription which they had previously refused, even though on the system, as repeat, but didn’t acknowledge the prescription which was urgently required and ordered by the visiting Doctor. How do we receive attention these days? We don’t want to be ill and require attention. I am 85 years old and find it difficult to understand just why a simple prescription ordered ,by a Doctor on a phone can’t be delivered in an emergency as this Doctor presumed it would be. Please take time to explain this situation to me. I live on my own and at that time had no one nearby to pick up for me. I don’t understand why the important medication ordered by the on call Doctor wasn’t even picked up on. Who will accept the blame?
