Bullsmoor Lodge is a very well managed Care Home where the staff are dedicated and empathetic towards their residents. It is always clean, bright and fosters a very calm atmosphere for residents and visitors alike. Staff endeavour to treat residents as individuals and they display a warm, caring attitude. When problems arise , as inevitably they do in this kind of situation , I have found the management, senior care staff and carers to be very willing to work together to put things right or to find a good solution to whatever difficulty the resident is experiencing. As a relative of a resident I visit regularly and at different times of the day and I have never felt less than welcome or experienced any sense of apprehension at what happens there. There are plenty of activities arranged and staff interact really well with residents. They are firm, reassuring, empathetic and professional. Above all, I feel that the staff know my relative well and accept her fully for the person she was and for who she has become since dementia claimed her.
