Arden Grove

Arden Grove has been fantastic for our relative with dementia. The accommodation is first class, beautifully laid out and offer so much freedom. The individual flats are perfectly designed and being able to furnish them independently means they really are home. Our relative repeatedly says how she loves her flat and never wants to leave. The communal areas are so welcoming and non institutional, encouraging those who live there to mix. Our relative now has a circle of friends and is rarely on her own. Perhaps the best point is the staff, they are fantastic! Every time we have been they are friendly, warm and welcoming. Nothing ever seems to be too much for them and the way they interact with those living there is beyond words. If everyone could get care like this at this stage in life old age and dementia would not be so scary. We know Mum is safe, cared for and even more important happy. A fantastic place!

We made the decision that mum needed care this time last year and it wasn’t long until we walked through the doors of Arden Grove and am I glad we did. Soon as we walked in and met Cheryl with her smiling warm and friendly staff we knew mum was “home”. The staff here have bought my mum back to life; they go above and beyond in their roles. The staff don’t just care for their residents but also the families of them. I myself have needed a shoulder to cry on throughout mum’s dementia journey and the girls in the care office at Arden have always been there to listen and offer me a shoulder to lean on, nothing is ever too much for them. Words will never be enough to thank this amazing team and what they have done for us!! I’m so glad we have Arden Grove anyone suffering from Dementia should have an Arden Grove in their life!!!
