My elderly mother had a fall and was admitted to hospital. After 10 days in hospital she was moved to the rehabilitation centre. Her mobility was severely impaired. Although prior to her stay she was not keen on the idea of a 'care home' environment the accommodation and care provided soon changed her mind. The room was comfortable and peaceful giving her the perfect relaxing environment to rest and recover. She could not speak highly enough of the staff and their attention to detail. My mother enjoys her food and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food provided and her only complaint was that the generous portions would cause her to put on a few pounds! The constant care and physiotherapy provided - with great attention to detail - speeded up her recovery in a much quicker time than any of us expected. A home visit by staff with family in attendance before she left the accommodation ensured when she did return home everything was in place for her comfort and safety. The continuing care - home visits - for a couple of weeks after she went home was a confidence builder as she settled back into her 'home' routine. The family cannot thank everyone enough for the relatively short time my mother was out of her home and the excellent care she has received. |

My mother in law was admitted on Friday and in the three days I have seen the care given by the staff is second to none. They are always checking on the residents giving encouragement where necessary. The team are very special they take a pride In looking after the residents to make sure they either get back to their own home or the next step what ever that might be.
They have a good step up and long may it stay. |
