I have had the misfortune of seeing many of these agency staff at work in a home local to myself. They appear to have had very little, if any proper training, which is bad enough, but the language barrier problem, well.........! And surely a person entering a caring role would know how to make a brew {or a cup of tea) ?! I really cannot believe what I see at times. Sorry but I would not choose to have NYS anywhere near any relative or friend of mine within a care establishment |

This provider has supplied care staff to the nursing home where my mother resides. I had to ask to see ID as the staff were not wearing uniform. I also asked one member of staff to remove a huge bulky wrist watch they were wearing. Bearing in mind the elderly have fragile skin and the care staff did not appear to understand the damage such a watch could cause I was very worried to say the least. Are these people actually trained to look after the elderly? I have looked at the website for NYS and I am not impressed by the general lack of good language and grammatical mistakes. |
