Had a telephone appointment with GP. Told him my mental health had worsened and I'm suicidal. All I got in return was.. . I will refer you to the mental health team. Almost 2 months later now and still not heard a thing ! Absolute joke of a surgery ! Only interested in treating benefits scammers so they can collect benefits they should not be entitled to ! No interest in genuine people who really need professional help !!!! Set of jokers !!!! | ||||||

Today I got delayed in traffic for a doctors appointment,arriving 14 minutes late.This I was advised was 4 minutes over the 10 minutes deadline and thus my appointment was cancelled .
Looking around the surgery I saw only one person waiting.I was then offered another appointment for the 28th December (10 days later).
The receptionist was adamant that I was over the deadline and It the decision was no longer in her hands.Cut and dried you're late!
It seems to me that this is a one way rule, I often wait 30-40 minutes to see the doctor after arriving 10-15 minutes before the scheduled appointment.
I have never been late previously or missed an appointment in 18 years, It smacks of inflexibility and a lack of consideration towards a patient.. | ||||||
