I met with an Advanced Practitioner last week when suffering with severe abdominal pain. I found the practitioner lacked empathy and seemed to minimise my experience. I was given no reassurance or advice regarding how/when the episode would abate. I left thinking I would not wish to see this staff member again. Have previously been very pleased with all surgery staff. | ||||||

The care and service I received at the Plowright Medical Centre was outstanding today. Having had to call the 111 service over the weekend and diagnosed with needing antibiotics and a follow up visit to my GP, I called the surgery to make an appointment. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who listened carefully to my request to see a doctor as a follow up from the weekend visit to the hospital. It wasn’t long before I was offered a same day appointment in order for me to discuss my ailment with a GP. Upon arrival, I used the very efficient automated arrival logging system and was seen promptly and on time by the GP. With sensitivity and care I received a further diagnosis and clear instructions what I should be doing next and further medication. Very quickly the tablets were prescribed and I was able to collect them conveniently from the in-house dispensary. I highly recommend the surgery following my visit there today. | ||||||

I have found the service very efficient and all the staff, Doctors, Nurses and Receptionist, to be helpful and understanding. I cannot praise this practice enough. | ||||||
