Litcham Health Centre is the best Practice for miles around. Nothing is too much trouble, you are treated with respect. I have to visit the practice on a regular basis but have never been made to feel I shouldn’t be there. The Doctors, Nurses and all the Staff are first class. You are given the time that is needed and never rushed, you are always seen in an emergency. You may have to wait to be seen but this does not matter, it is not a case of you’ve had your ten minutes here’s your prescription, like many other practices you hear about. They have a team that goes out visiting people in need of regular checks. There are early and late surgeries for people who cannot get there at normal times. They have a Doctor who does minor operations, a Physiotherapist and a Counsellor. The surgery has its own dispensary which again is very helpful and efficient. You can always ask for a phone call from a Doctor or Nurse. All in all the Surgery is EXCELLENT. | ||||||

Congratulations to the Doctors and all the staff for achieving an OUTSTANDING rating by the CQC in 2017. It was very well deserved, the practice is the best in the area and the Doctors and all the staff have time for all the patients. No one in need is turned away, emergencies are seen immediately.
You may have to wait at times but this is no problem as you get all the time you need and aren't thrown out after 10 minutes like you are in some surgeries. Yes you will hear some people moan but they have to realise that they may need extra time at some stage.
One of the GPs runs evening surgeries to accommodate people who cannot get there during the day. You can also receive phone call from the GPs if requested.
All the staff are pleasant and accommodating. | ||||||
