I went to oick up my repeat prescription at Asda yesterday. It hadnt come through. The Pharmacist gave my my blood pressure tablets as an emergency. Rang the Doctors surgery to be told that they would send it through as a priority. Went to collect today to be told it wasnt there. Rang the surgery again to be told that it HAD been ordered YESTERDAY and it would be 48 hours. I have been without my medication for 2 weeks. Receptionist didnt care when I asked why it hadnt automatically been produced as usual but she kept repeating that is how it works. THIS ISNT THE CASE !!! When I started to explain that I am looking after my terminally ill husband she just spoke over me and put the phone down. Can someone please explain the rules regarding repeat prescriptions !!! VERY DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST. |

What a pathetic and truly awful experience trying to communicate with the receptionist who constantly attempted to talk over me. I am new to this practice and cannot make sense of their ideals. All I wanted was an appointment for a tablet review which I have been trying to arrange for the last month. This lack of care and professional understanding could lead to serious illness or death. |
