I have mental health and have been trying to get a repeat prescription from the doctors since the middle of august. Perscription ran out on the 2nd September. It is now the 18th September and been issued a prescription today to pick up. This was without a review of my increased medication even though the doctor said I could not have another prescription without seeing a doctor. Paramedic associate was very pleasant,read my BP, & answered a few questions,reassuring. Donna rang me back today to check on my BP readings & was very kind & supportive. I am unable to have requested health check blood tests as the practice has no needles! Lynne Blackburn of MPs office spoke to NHS administration who deny there is any needle shortage. So don't know how to proceed! Wait for a GP is a month. I would change practice locally for someone closer,but I will wait till I relocate. | ||||||
