Had an appointment this week with a new medication prescribed by the nurse, as not qualified to prescribe I couldn't take a prescription away with me to go straight to the pharmacy and had to wait for the doctor to sign it and send it to my nominated pharmacy which nurse confirmed with me during the appointment. Left it until the next day to be safe, go to the pharmacy to be told no prescription had been sent, call reception to be talked down to by reception staff, and was told it'd been printed out and I need to collect the paper prescription from the surgery, working full time and took time off for initial appointment this would mean 4 more days delay including weekend. A family member helped me to drive straight over there only to be told that the paper prescription has been canceled and it will be sent to the pharmacy, now not able to collect meds til Saturday from Wednesday's appointment. If a paper prescription needs to be collected after confirming digital delivery to the pharmacy with the patient this needs to be communicated. lack of attention to detail and care from prescribing physician. or just general poor communication within the practice. Great opportunity for best practice review not excuses on the phone and condescending tones from reception staff. |

Miss information given all the time, cannot see GP without making a telephone appointment first and can never pre-book appointments on the day. Staff are not helpful at all. I am personally not at this surgery but my parents are only because they can speak to someone that speaks there language otherwise they would have left a long time ago! |

Trying to get an appointment is a nightmare. Phone is never answered. Can’t book online. Can’t book appointment in advance. Everything is blamed on COVID. There are other illnesses which are just as important. |
