A specific member of admin staff (29/08/2019) at 10:25am was extremely rude to me over the phone. She talked over me whilst I attempted to explain the situation which I have had to repeat numerous times due do an administration error made my this practice previously! I have undergone major surgery and would Be grateful for a little kindness show by the staff member at this practice. All doctors and nurses and community receptions and other admin staff have been fabulous, understanding and tried their hardest, however this specific member of staff has made me feel extremely low. Please address this issue as I would never want anyone to be treated with such disregard for someone’s feeling. Thank you. | ||||||

Rarely visit surgery but I have 1 medication and submit a repeat prescription on line. I also submit my wives repeat prescription on her behalf that normally consists of 2 items, occasionally 3. The last 2 prescriptions requested have resulted in further visits to chemist and visits to surgery for rectifying their mistakes. Amazingly, on the last visit to surgery was told it may be better ringing up for repeat prescription! It is not difficult to check an online request and process accordingly and this is the preferred choice of the surgery. The online process is meant to save the surgery time and reduce pressure on the surgery communication system and staff time. Clearly, staff require training in processing prescriptions and on what is the preferred methods of the surgery. Additionally, accepting mistakes and apologising is better than neither when patients visit with these concerns. sadly, neither offered. We are both in our late 60s, but have a car and are reasonably able but live 3 miles away. Sadly, some patients live alone, no transport and mistakes like this can be serious. Please, rectify these mistakes in the interest of your patients and the reputation of the surgery. | ||||||

my Husband rang doctor at 8am for an appointment for our daughter. They asked is it an emergency. He said no we need to see a doctor for our daughter the receptionist said it’s only for emergency . She said we can make you an appointment for next week if you want . Which it obviously to late next week ......
So annoying when can you actually see your own doctor..... now wounder A&E are so busy if you can’t get in at your doctors. | ||||||
