Upon ringing for an appointment reception staff are often short on the phone with you, they have no time for you and are very abrupt, i have been at this surgery all my life and always had the same gp, only for that to be changed without my knowledge to a complete stranger although my origonal gp is still apparently workin there, appointment slots seem to be few an far between and although pre booked ones are available the reception staff seem to refuse to give them out, the booking system is to be frank a joke | ||||||

I've been with the surgery for 23yrs now. I find the doctors and staff extremely helpful and friendly. What I do find frustrating though since it's been taken over by Paxton Medical you can't phone the surgery direct. Also they tend to only offer appointments for Claughton Medical Centre, you can only get a phone consultation with Fender Way initially then the doctor can decide if you need to be seen or prescribe medication over the phone. | ||||||
