I was most disappointed today when I rang for an appointment as I am in work from 7:30 till 17:00 monday to friday. I was told the earliest appointment would be the following thursday a full 9 days after calling. what is worse I have seen a number of articles where it says the surgery is actively seeking more patients. How do you justify taking on more patients if you cannot cater for the ones that you already have on the books. The receptionists answering the phones aren't interested in dealing with you when you ring and your treated like your an inconvenience to them.
What I would like to know is when your ill and in need of treatment what are you supposed to do. do you stay ill and home to naturally recover or just get worse while waiting to see your own doctor |

Not a regular visitor to my GP but when I need them I don't have a problem getting an appointment.
Also the reception staff have always been polite and helpful.
Thanks |

The manner in which the receptionist speak to you is unprofessional and very disrespectful. Never have I ever been spoken to in that tone before in any setting. Receptionists are there to help you with any enquiries you have not to be rude and act as if they have better things to do. I'm completely disgusted in the way I was spoken to. |
