We were at this practice for around 7 years before moving away recently. It is an outstanding practice which we highly recommend. We were always looked after with dignity and respect and all the staff did their utmost for our health and well-being. |

Before Christmas doctor said he would help me appeal my PIP decision, all I need to do is book a double appointment and bring in the letter so he could do the physical exam as this was not performed at the PiP assessment. I got to my appointment with the letters needed, he read through them chuckling to himself then asked me a few questions about day to day life, WHICH he answered himself or should I say told me my answer was wrong and started becoming sarcastic about it. Then probes into my life a bit more and ends the appointment saying I’m not even gonna get it. Also told me to stop doing what I was doing and go out look for a real job as it would be more productive! - I am a strong willed man, but this left me feeling like there was no faith left in the world, I spent a solid 20minutes crying in the car park because I was treated as some kind of villain.. a few months later I am suffering with a swollen throat, beyond desperate for help as I’m not eating/drinking properly and haven’t had a decent sleep in over 4 days, on top of this I have been going toilet 5x as much as normal I get a telephone appointment and was told over the phone “you can’t swallow pills so we can’t help you” - not a scratch of empathy or anything, I WILL be changing doctors surgeries as soon as I’m back to semi decent health! |

I got caught up in traffic and was 5 minutes late for my appointment. The receptionist phoned the doctor and he said not to worry he would see me.
I needed to see a doctor as I had endured a condition for nearly 6 weeks and the likelihood was I could lose a finger. I saw a the doctor and apologised for bein late. He was wonderful and who went through other recent health problems I had. He was very detailed and informative and highlighted the potential outcomes of my current issue. He promptly arranged for an X-ray and further tests. He was so caring, showed such empathy and kindness to me I could not thank him enough.
Today I went back to the surgery with a thank you card and chocolates for him. I was told he was a locus and did not have any dates to return to the surgery. I would like for the practice to know that this doctor does an exceptional job and is a credit to any practice.
Sincere thanks. |
