This surgery is shocking. I have a relative who is high risk & time sensitive all over her notes. They blatantly ignore this and took over 10 hours to call her back on an emergency. Instead we ended up having to call 111 who insisted on calling an ambulance. The ambulance crew were amazing but were with us for 3 hours over their shift to try and get us the right care. But sadly we still ended up taking up another ambulance for an additional 3 (6 in total) sat outside GRH. All this could have been avoid if the GP had taken a few minutes to read her notes. The receptionist advised the GP was looking at the notes around midday but still no call came until after 6pm!! If my relative didn’t have a family support network around her this could have resulted in an unnecessary life lost!!! |

There is no attention to detail, the GPs clearly don't read patients' notes. Now you wait a week to get a call from a GP, and 3 weeks for an appointment. At best there's scant communication between doctor and patient, they seem to have lost all care and concern, and are rarely even at the surgery. I can only assume private practice is the priority now. |
