I received a Text message from Manor Place 16th September 2019 at 12.30 pm This text strongly recommended, I have the Flu Jab, and informed me on the 16th October 2019 between 3pm & 530pm, At this I must highlight the date was was not written as 16/10/19 it was written 16th October 2019 I was happy to attend on the 16th October 2019, I am a full blown stroke survivor, and diabetic, and therefore it is most important for me to receive the Flu jab I return now to the 16th September 2019 and I receive another text following the previous text that afternoon , there is no time to this text ? this text offer me an apology for the previous text , I now have 2 texts regarding the Flu jab both dated 16th September 2019, however the second text informs me the drop in is TODAY the 16th September between 3pm & 5.30 pm , I therefore am being given around 2 hours notice to attend for my annual flu jab I did not read this text until around 4pm , and I was not able to make this drop in How unacceptable is this, I wonder if the Chief Officer of Nexus would find this acceptable if she was on the receiving end of this treatment or non treatment in my case

Thank you for taking the time to share you concerns about the recent service you have received at Manor Place Surgery. I apologise for the confusion over the message around the flu clinics. Please be assured there will be further walk in flu clinics and ample notice will be given for these. Alternatively you can of course contact the surgery directly to book an appointment for a flu jab should you wish to do so. Yours sincerely Steven Hunt Locality Manager
