Wen I call reception all I get told is send an email or go on econsult that's a phaff what a long winded way of getting anywhere with anything nightmare i also understand that patients must call a lot but I think there's a couple of receptionists there that need a lesson in not being abrupt or rude... there's one whom I hate asking anything for..when I call I find myself hoping she does not answer the phone. I should not feel like that at all . |

In the last 6 weeks, I have either called, or emailed, into ballater surgery twice at 8am just as they have opened. I gave a brief description of my problem (the first time was suspected impetigo on my face), was asked to send in photos and a doctor called me around an hour later for a consultation. Exactly the same thing happened last week when I suspected I had shingles. This time I emailed a couple of photos in and, again, gave a brief description. I was called 10 minutes later and, after a detailed phone consultation, was diagnosed with shingles and medication was prescribed. I don’t think I would be happy for an email/phone consultation if I had major health concerns but, for regular day to day issues, this service is just perfect. Thank you!! |
