Went to see the doctor today. Entered the waiting room, spoke to no one, entered my presence on a screen. Doctor came to call me and as I entered her consulting room I made a friendly conversational remark. This was dismissed with a brisk How can I help you? I got what I came for (a sick note) but the interaction was cold and businesslike. A document was open on her desk and I had obviously interrupted her reading.
Is it too much to ask for friendly interaction.?
On the other hand another doctor at the practice is very personable and helpful. |

After a recent visit to the surgery I could not fault the care received, the HCA and Nurse both made me feel totally at ease throughout both visits...Thank you |

Although I have been registered with this surgery for longer, over the past year or so, I have had to see a doctor or nurse frequently for numerous reasons, many of which were related to pregnancy and my 9 month old daughter.
For starters, I have always found the reception/appointments team very professional and accommodating.
I have also found the nurses at this practise to be very knowledgeable and friendly with a real knack for dealing with babies and mums.
Most importantly for me, given the numerous appointments I have had to make over the past year, is the fantastic quality of the doctors who have been there to treat me and my daughter. I have seen 3 of them and they are professional, caring and very knowledgeable giving me a great sense of confidence in the care we have been given. Each one of them are excellent doctors. A big thanks to ome doctor in particular who recently resolved an ongoing concern of my daughter’s.
Would highly recommend this surgery and each of the doctors mentioned. |
