    Head receptionist ruins this surgery. 1st in the queue for 30-90 mins. If this call queue is accurate then it categorically means the call is being ignored as I highly doubt anyone is on the phone to the receptionists for this long. Then when you get through, if you're lucky enough that they don't instantly hang the phone up, she is impatient and condescending even if your query is off the back of an appointment where you are told, by the dr or nurse, to call and book with reception. The Drs and Nurses tell you one thing in your appointment but reception staff tell you the complete opposite ... The surgery has caused me an unbelievable amount of medical anxiety and this has finally, as one would expect, had a detrimental affect on mental health. I must say not every receptionist I have spoken to is like this in fact it sounds like the same person every time who is acting this way and from the other reviews it seems I am not the only one they have done this to.

    I called in at the surgery yesterday as I had had a cough for a few weeks. The EARLIEST appointment they could offer me was 7th September! 5 weeks to wait: this is unacceptable.

    My recent experience: phone answered within 5 minutes by friendly and professional receptionist; doctor's return phone call within 2 hours; prescription emailed to pharmacy immediately #perfect
