Great Doctors but reception leaves alot to be desired, not sure whats been going opn but the last few months the reception have become rude and ignorant, jumping to assumptions regarding the nature of calls. I have been with the surgery for a few years now and never had any problems however last year my partner and i split up so im currently between homes and waiting to get housed again in ramsgate, my correspondence and place where all my possesions are stored is still in ramsgate but currently no permenant fixed abode. Everything was fine but now the reception staff keep trying to insist that i cant be on there books EVEN THOUGH IM STILL A RESIDENT OF RAMSGATE. My variance in address is no different to someone working away from home for periods of time. When i tried to explaijn this to the reception staff they became argumentative then making unreasonable demands that i would have to go in with ID and proof of address. WHAT FOR. Like I stated before, the doctors and medical staff at the surgery are bang on fantastic - THE RECEPTION STAFF however leave alot to be desired and need a lesson in customer services - they are not MEDICAL TEAM. |

I try and get an appointment and because I am a “young mum” I don’t get listened to I couldn’t even get my daughter’s prescription the receptionist was rude and said she just spoke to the manager so I said can I speak to the manager and she was apparently on another call and then when I asked again she had apparently left for the day I phoned today the doctor is ringing me back but as I said thank you and went to speak again to see if I could get myself in the list Melanie hangs up the phone she did it to me many other times and I call back and she said no I thought our conversation was over all the reception are so entitled the doctors are amazing however the reception and telling me to find another doctors instead of helping me to sort my daughter who isn’t even 1 yet! |
