Dr Mashru & Partners

I regret not changing GP’s sooner! Had been a patient here for over 10 years and liked the fact that they had a walk in clinic every day. However, when seen by Dr Mashru, my symptoms were always dismissed. Other doctors at this practice have been better, but unfortunately I was mostly seen by Dr Mashru. I found out after moving to another GP that my iron levels from a blood test 4 years ago were borderline low, but was never told this by Dr Mashru despite my symptoms. I even asked him if I should take iron tablets as a precaution and he said no as my levels were normal. Needless to say, they continued to get worse and I had no idea until moving GP’s - now having to take tablets 3 times a day. He could have at least suggested a follow up to recheck.

I passed a prescription request raised by my consultant to Swakeleys Medical Centre for attention of the doctor. After a period of two weeks I have now visited the parmacy on three occasions to be told they have nor received it. On two occasions I have revisited the Medical Centre. On Tuesday this week the receptionist again printer the form off and informed me that it would be passed to Winchester Pharmacy on Wednesday. Today, Thursday the pharmacy had once again not received it. On another visit to the Medical Centre today a different Receptionist claimed to have no knowledge of it and again claimed it would be passed on. I am loathe to ask the pharmacy to again sift through boxes of presctriptions looking for non-existent medicines. Not impressed!

This practice should be out of business. I’ve only ever experienced bad situations with my Dr and has told me not to worry over serious matters in the past which have turned out to be indeed serious. Avoid at all costs ! Very rude too, doesn’t care, how it’s still running and hasn’t been investigated is beyond me.
