My wife works for the NHS and is in agony with her knees. Can't get an appointment until Monday 5 Dec and that's via a phone. Been on the phone on and off for 3 hours and I'm always number 14 in queue. Got through to Admin who told me to go to A&E. What an appalling service . Where the hell is CQC as it appears last visit was in 2016. The place needs shutting down |

It is almost impossible to get an appointment. You have to call 8am, and wait on the line for at least 20 minutes. Sometimes the call won't go through at all (perhaps the queue is too long and you're past the cut-off number), and other times, when you finally DO get through, you're number 20 in the call queue. By the time your turn comes, all the appointments have gone, and you're told to try the next day. Come the next day, the same story repeats all over. I asked if they do advance booking for appointments, but was told I have to call 8am in the morning for same day appointments instead. Which, like I already said, are pretty much impossible to get. Never mind the fact that you can only address one issue per appointment - if you have more than one concern, there's no way you'll be able to get them looked at as there's no knowing when you'll be able to get through to them to get another appointment. |

I was under lot of stress and the doctor helped me. She provided me with the information which I was not aware. She contacted me through phone calls and was very concern, at one time she phoned me at 9:00pm. That particular day the surgery was extremely busy. I visited the surgery on the day during the day and I could see the long line of queue so returned home and thought that I will not be able to contact the doctor, but to my surprise I received the phone call at 9:00pm. Needless to say , I was speechless. |
