I had developed some increasing in sensitivity in a tooth over several weeks and it developed into pain when eating. I called for an appointment and was offered the choice of two slots later the same day, even though I did not present as a emergency. The dentist saw me promptly and investigated the problem, including an x-ray. She was unable to find any serious issue, other than a slight raised area on a tooth, which she quickly removed. She suggested that the sensitivity may settle down and that I should leave it for a little longer. She explained that the potential long term solutions could be to replace a crown, remove the root canal or even the complete removal of the tooth. Given all of these are major and expensive procedures she was reluctant to proceed further without giving it more time to develop or recover. I was very happy with this approach as I didn't want to rush into what might be unnecessary expensive treatment. Since my visit the pain has subsided a little so I am very satisfied. The icing on the cake was that the dentist did not charge me for the visit so I will definitely return when I do need treatment.

Lost a tooth over night and rang first thing in the morning. Got an appointment to see a dentist that morning. Problem sorted - very quick, helpful and considerate (written on behalf of an 85 year old!)

I was referred to this dental surgery as an emergency and as a very nervous patient I was very apprehensive about going to a new dentist.I needn’t have worried as the dentist I saw was very understanding and kind and an excellent dentist.I had x rays and two teeth removed with no pain and minimal discomfort.I hope that I am able to register with this practice as soon as possible,as my old dentist has retired and my phobia has prevented me from moving on. After this appointment I have the utmost confidence in future treatments.Thank you to the dentist and all your staff who helped put me at ease and showed great care.
