Visited to collect a prescription I’d dropped in earlier in the week. After 10 minutes of searching they said they couldn’t find it. It may have been because they didn’t have the particular drug so may have sent the prescription back. They said if I brought back my discharge letter from Dorchester hospital they would get another prescription from the doctor next door. So did that, 7 minute wait in the queue to get served. Gave them the discharge letter, They took that next door, came back 8 minutes later saying the surgery would not rewrite the prescription unless it was for the same drug. The Pharmacy didn’t have the drug but something similar. So I was told to go back to Dorchester and get another prescription. No apology offered. So I wont be visiting them again Reply from LloydsPharmacy Fri, 06 Sep 2019 10:21:05 +0100 Hi there Thank you for taking the time to post your review. I apologise for the poor experience you've had when visiting our pharmacy. This certainly isn't the standard of service we expect for our customers and I'm sorry for any upset caused. I will ensure your feedback is recorded and shared with the Regional Management Team, who will take any appropriate action found to be necessary. I hope that the pharmacy team will reflect on this matter and make the appropriate changes to their professional practices. I apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope you see an improvement if you decide to visit in future. Jas |

When I opened the page that had the reviews I was not surprised to find I was not the only person appalled by the customer service, every establishment has its problems but it is how those problems are managed that matters, Several people waited in line for 20 to 30 minutes to be told we can’t help you until Monday, my comment to the pharmacist was why was I not informed when I joined the queue, as that would make sense, I was told by that member of staff that she had only just come off lunch break by five minutes so she was not at fault, I commented back to her well what about all the other staff members telling the people? and how unprofessional I found the establishment, all they need was a sign or a member of staff to communicate with the line of people waiting so they know where they stand! and have the choice of going somewhere where else, as an ongoing problem with staff issues that has been going on for some weeks now surely putting in procedures to avert this type of situation would help everyone concerned . Spent Mon and Tues trying to phone. No one picked up. I am in wheelchair and haven't been out for over 2 years. Terrible service. Shameful, actually. |
