Called in to seek advice from the pharmacist today. The staff was very helpful, she asked what it was about and spoke to the pharmacist who actually was at an arm’s reach from me and could hear the conversation. Despite this the female pharmacist kept sending the sales staff back and forth without actually speaking with me. I found the experience very humiliating as there were other people on the premises at the same time. Pharmacist then sent the staff to inform me to see my GP. I ended up purchasing irrelevant items and left. What I went for was a private advice from the pharmacist, it was not for public consumption. I regularly collect my prescriptions form this particular chemist and I’m considering moving my custom elsewhere. Apart from this incident, I have to wait minimum 2 days for my Pxs. I’ve had to check it each time to be sure too. Why go to the GP when time and resources can be saved by talking to the pharmacist? For these reasons I give this chemist 2 stars.
