Had an appointment for my dads eye test this morning, i thought he was due his yearly test but did not realise that he had his last eye test in october, so we were 2 months early. The person who we spoke to was so rude, in every sentence he repeated constantly that we were 2 months early and he would only see my dad if we paid £25 (instead of free as hes an oap) He could of said everything he said without his attitude but he was very rude and both of us will never go to this branch again. I have been going for several years and only recently started getting my dad to go, he should of had free eye tests since 65, but only started going since turning 71) but now my dad has been completely put off opticians after this staff members attitude. All other staff always nice and polite, and the previous optician that we have seen has always been excellent, just ashame they've now got this person working there with his bad attitude!!!!

I had an eye test with boots hagley rd but did not want to purchase the glasses from there. After telling them that I found the attitude of the staff to be rude and obnoxious did not want to hep at all. Seems that Boots are only interested in selling frames these days and not bothered in patients eye health.
