Excellent service, not just an eye test but examination of the retina and photograph for future comparison. Friendly, helpful staff. Friends I have recommended to Anderton, Akbar & Procter Ltd have been very pleased.

Even though these opticians were fully booked on this particular day, when I explained a problem with my eyesight, they squeezed me in within a couple of hours. After my full examination by the optician, it was discovered that I had a serious problem in my left eye and after a second opinion with a different optician, I was referred to my doctor urgently, which eventually led me to a hospital appointment where it was discovered I had posterior vitreous detachment. Urgent treatment was started immediately. Thanks to the skills of the opticians I will gain normal eyesight in the near future. A big big thank you.
