The worst store with the worst employees. They can't do their job properly and make it a pain for me each time I have to contact them. Never go there.

Optician did a good eye examination. However, the recommendation afterwards for glasses/lenses was completely inappropriate. This was because they only wanted me to buy the most expensive lenses. Unfortunately I believed they were sincere and had my best interest at heart – how naive and wrong I was. The sales people gave me the hard sell on the most expensive lenses, I trusted them. Shortly after wearing them it was painfully obvious the glasses/lenses were completely inappropriate for my use. My old glasses/lenses were actually better than the new ones. Profit and loss is more important than customer care. I had to work for a refund. Only after I visited the shop and spoke over the phone enough times was I allowed to have my money back. However, they did not refund the NHS voucher back to the NHS which is a disgrace. Instead they offered me less than half of the value of the voucher as what they called a ‘good will’ gesture. Really! The whole amount of the voucher should had been returned back to the NHS, but no they want to keep the money instead. I will never ever go back Specsavers ever again. And what’s more I had to endure a snooty phone call from Specsavers berating me because of my honest review on their website. I've been a customer of theirs for years and years and now I strongly recommend you use another company. One seriously unhappy customer here! NB, I am happy to verify the above.
