At present my mother is receiving care from comfort call. She is paying for 3 meals per day at half hour per call. So far, she has not had a 30 minute call. The carers are nice enough but they come and go in 10-15 minutes, even though they say they do all that is required of them in that time. When you speak to the senior care person about the problem she is defensive and quite rude. The response I got when I complained was that it was my word against the carers. We still are no further forward with this problem than we were 6 weeks ago. Nobody ever rings you back and nothing is resolved.
We want the best for mam and feel that as long as she pays her money that’s all they are bothered about. |
