Jan 8 2019 I visited the dining room where the staff were not attentive to residents' responses to their questions. Staff were too task orientated to get on with clearing stuff away rather than thinking or 'caring' for the people they were supposed to be helping at a major activity of the day - having a meal. Instead they ignored the body language and efforts by some residents slowly trying to reply. So the residents did not all get what they were attempting to obtain and probably on record were supposedly 'refusing food and drink'. A shame such a lovely place but beware, quality of care outweighs the surroundings!

If you're looking for a care home for yourself or one of your loved ones, deer park view is not the one. The staff are extremely rude and unfortunately the residents are not treated with the respect and dignity that they deserve. Please avoid!!
