Tandridge Heights is a modern purpose-built 75-bed care home located in the heart of Oxted, Surrey.
We offer nursing and residential care as well as personalised dementia nursing care in one of Barchesters unique Memory Lane Communities.
Our Memory Lane Community has been specially designed for those living with dementia using colour schemes that easily enable residents to identify areas within the home. We also have feature life skills kitchens where residents can be involved in everyday kitchen activities such as baking and setting the table under supervision and with guidance.
Our home has a wonderful "home-like feel" with furnishings designed with older people in mind, from the sofas and chairs in the living rooms, through to our spacious en-suite bedrooms and beyond, to our landscaped and sensory gardens. In addition to these facilities, residents and their family and friends have a coffee area, hair salon and "cosy corners" to relax and enjoy the views of our gardens. Throughout the home there is a range of communal and dining facilities to suit people who enjoy socializing as well as those who prefer quieter activities.

Sep 13 2015 Visited a relation who was in for respite care in this home in September, call bells were constantly ringing from residents rooms and not being answered, told this was due to shortage of staff, observed residents at meal time who couldn't feed themselves not being offered any assistance , and therefore not eating . Wheelchairs seemed to be used for everyone for speed rather than personal need, my female relation was dressed/undressed by male carers much to her distress. She was left on the toilet for a lengthy period after having waited too long for assistance in the first place. She was promised a nice bath as soon as she arrived, had not even been offered a shower 3 days later. Doors to to residents rooms were kept open giving no privacy to residents and the carers routinely walked in without knocking. My normally very placid and grateful relation asked soon after to be taken out of Tandridge Heights as soon as possible and left after just over a weeks stay. She has now relocated to another home and is receiving kind and effective care - incidentally at a considerably lower cost.
