Marlfield Care Home With Nursing

My mother stayed at Marlfield for 5 weeks after discharge from hospital and waiting for a home care package to be put in place. She asked me to say how kind and caring the staff were. They helped her to the best of their ability

My mum was a resident here for three years until she died in April 2017, being a nurse myself I knew what good nursing care is, and this is what my mum received during her time at Marlfield. My mum could be very difficult at times but the patience the staff showed was exceptional, at the end of her life the staff sat down with the members of our family and explained that mum could go into hospital but she could stay at the home with the staff she knew and that's what she did, dying very peacefully in the night. I would like to name one particular staff member who was brilliant but not able to but they were the sister on Mum's floor. Thank you
