Feb 1 2016 I have used Home Instead Senior Care to support my mum who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. To start with they helped mum a couple of times a week, really to keep an eye on her, making sure that she was eating enough, and generally being a friend, as my mum has always been a very social lady. As time has gone on and my mums condition worsened I have come to rely on Home Instead on a daily basis, as I don't live locally I find it hard to be there all the time. Our regular Caregivers are absolutely amazing, they know mum so well and are so kind and loving. Mum doesn't see them as strangers but as friends who are just popping in to see her. For me its the reassurance knowing that mum is being cared for and that I don't have to support mum on my own
