May 23 2017 My mum was with Westminster Homecare for 5 years. She recently passed away. I did let the care company know on the day that my mum had passed away. The operater did convey her condolences to me. I also let the company know when the funeral was, but was very disappointed that I did not get a sympathy card from the company. Neither did her permanent carer attend the funeral. I just felt that my mum was just a client, but the company did not have the ability to convey their condolences in person. Poor.! An ex-carer did manage to come along to the funeral with another colleague that is a permanent carer with the company. Doesn't need a layman to tell the care company on how they manage their protocol.
