Nightingales Golden Care Ltd is a successful privately owned company based in Portsmouth providing domiciliary care and personal assistance within Hampshire. Established in 2002 by nurses who wanted to change the way people think about and receive care services.
It is currently owned by Ms Sally Ridley RGN BSC and run by Benjamin Chudley who is the Registered Manager. Respected by its peers, local authorities and Service Users.
Our commitment is to provide equitable, inclusive, and culturally sensitive services that improve the quality of life for each Service User, carer and their family. We supply care and assistance to elderly people and those with disabilities.
The organisation provides a body of professional, vetted, skilled, and trained staff to deliver high quality services that are cost effective for the service user.
We are registered with the United Kingdom Home Care Association (UKHCA) and regularly audited by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). & All of our staff are checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service (formally Criminal Records Bureau) and trained in line with the National Standards for care.

Mar 6 2018 Nightingales Golden Care provided care for both of my parents during the final years of their lives. My parents both had dementia and my father also had mobility problems. I chose Nightingales as my parents would have a regular carer who would really get to know them. The package of care was very well managed and adaptable to their changing needs which rose to a level where a live-in carer was required for the final few months of life. Having a live in carer enabled my father to stay at home, as he had wanted and be cared for with patience and dignity.

I rang on a Friday to arrange evening care and was immediately helped by the carer who came the following evening, keeping my informed as to where she was and what time she would be there. This only covered the one evening as my mother was admitted to hospital the following morning. She was kind, professional and very caring. Thank you.
