This service provides a short term facility for people who may need care, support, equipment or rehabilitation. The service integrates health and social care and includes nurses, social workers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and rehabilitation assistants. The service is available from 07.00am until 22.00pm.

Jun 30 2016 I have been waiting for surgery on my foot for a year. Having tried several times to contact them, with nobody answering the phone, I eventually got through at the beginning of May only to be told that I had been sent a letter asking me to choose whether to stay on their list and have my surgery in Lymington or transfer my treatment to Spire Havant. I have never received such a letter. I told the receptionist I would choose Spire and asked how long the wait would be only to be told the receptionist had no idea I would have to wait to hear from Spire. After another month I spoke to a very helpful receptionist at Spire only to be told that they have not received anything from the Turner Centre and had many calls about the same thing. In the meantime I am in increasing pain and have now developed a problem with my knee which now also requires surgery. The initial diagnosis of the problem was efficient but the wait for corrective surgery in totally unacceptable

Nov 23 2015 Following a fall which damaged my ankle, members of this team arrived only a few hours after leaving hospital. They carried out a full assessment of my needs and arranged for the recommended equipment to be delivered within two days. I now feel much more secure at home.
