I have had Premier Homecare for nearly ten years to do most of my care..... During that time I have not been let down once by Premier, which gives me and my family peace of mind. Premier keep to their scheduled times nearly always. If they have to change my times, they consult me beforehand. I greatly value this, because I can plan my day properly knowing Premier carers will be here at the right time. Most carers from Premier are of a very high standard. I normally have the same group of carers all the time, even when carers are on holiday or off sick. I am speech impaired, Premier understand I need continuity of carers, which makes my life much easier and less stressful. When a new carer is introduced to me, the new carer shadows a senior carer who has worked with me many times before. Again, making my life so much easier, not having to explain everything to new carers. My careplan from Premier is very in depth yet comprehensive; detailing my daily routines and preferences; enabling carers to do things the way I prefer them to be done. The office staff contact me directly by email, instead of contacting me via a third party, putting me in control. Premier office staff are in touch with what is happening, and deal with things efficiently, promptly and with the highest degree of respect. In my experience, an agency can have brilliant carers; but if the agency isn't run well; it has adverse effects on my life. Not only does Premier have brilliant carers; it is also exceptionally well run; making my care seamless so I can get on with my life.

Thanks to Premier Homecare, our feisty, 90-year old aunt can continue to stay in her own home and retain her much-valued independence. Though the rest of us from the family live thousands of miles away, we are reassured that our loved one is in good hands, not least because of the prompt and detailed reportage. The trained carers are cheerful, kind and capable. Moreover, the consideration, empathy and personal interest that the senior staff have displayed, is remarkable and in no way compromises their excellent professionalism in all matters. Recently, I was able to observe the caring first-hand and would highly recommend this service, to those looking for additional help; after a crisis ( e.g. hospitalisation), or as a long-term arrangement.

I have been extremely pleased with the care given to my mother over the last nine months. My Mum was very reluctant to have carers in her home but from day one she loved them and wondered how she'd managed before . Every carer she had was kind, compassionate and treated her with dignity. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. I was also very impressed with the professionalism of Premier Homecare. If the carers had any concerns, not only did they record them in Mum's file but the office would ring me to inform me. It gave me huge peace of mind to know that she was being so well looked after. For that reason alone I consider their services very good value for money. They may not be the cheapest company around but you get what you pay for. They were recommended to me by a friend whose Mum had needed their services and I have in turn recommended them to another friend for his Mum and would not hesitate to do so again in the future.
