I personally have received outstanding care from Dr Hollis, I understand the rotation and try to get my appointments with Dr Hollis who has been my primary Dr for 15 years. She always listens, is informative with answers with questions I ask and I don't know where I'd be today without her. There are some outstanding Drs at Garland house and people have to appreciate that sometimes you may have to wait there are 10 and a half thousand people live in Darfield with what 10-15 doctors The pressures are enormous. I'd wait longer to have a caring and understanding doctor. Anyway new rotas for following 2 weeks are every Tuesday at 12pm. first come first serve ?? Keep up the good work Doc's | ||||||

Overall good experience with most doctors, nurses & receptionists with exception to Dr Mellor who seems to not listen to the patient & their issues but instead comes across as been dismissive particularly when concerning mental health issues such as depression & anxiety. If you have mental health issues avoid seeing Dr Mellor as he will make you feel worse & instead ask to see another doctor. | ||||||

This and the Wood grove surgery are a complete waste of time, yet another 15 mins waiting only to get cut off again at queue number 7. I have two elderly parents who have mental health issues and arranging appointments, getting medication is exhausting. All the receptionists hide behind a myriad of excuses. I have huge respect for the NHS but sadly in this instance of what the NHS is supposed to deliver they fail miserably. Time for DR Mellor to retire and let the younger GP's who have a clue what's going on in the world to take over. | ||||||
